The best tasting animal out of them all was defifntly the muskox, that meat was so tender and good tasting, Just had a really nice texture and taste to it.
Mind you this russian razor back wild boar from california was very good eating also, the backstraps just melted in your mouth

This tahr from new zealand also tops the list of great hunts for me, this tahr is likely to win the international goat award at fnaws and grandslam/ovis this year as it is one of the biggest ever entered, extreemly lucky to have him.
New zealand is a very challeneging place to hunt with high mountain animals, i never got the chamois so i guess i get to go back one day.

Congratulations on such an amazing accomplishment. If you don't mind me asking, did your $248,000 include the taxidermy work as well?

Oh no the taxidermy work is not included in that price at all, I dont know what that is going to cost as there are still 14 animals out at the taxidermist.
But the really lucky part is my dad is a taxidermist so that helps bigtime.

Unbelievable!! I'm not really sure what to say...but thank you for sharing with us. My wife doesn't even want me to bring deer home to process and your house looks like sh*ttin' Bass Pro!! I cannot imagine the journey for you after taking my first deer this fall...you are very inspiring. Best wishes to you and your family.

Some truly magnificent animals you have had the opportunity and have been lucky enough to take over the years! I am currently attending university in North Carolina and was unable to get home and do anything hunting this fall. The whole reason im here is so one day I will have the money to be able to travel the world and do what you have done over the years. Congratulations on all of the spectacular trophies and memories. Please make sure to let all of the AO guys know when that book comes out, I know I would love to read it!! Congrats again man!!
