Anyone local carry wyndscent wind checker refills?

I can't help you on that, but I did read/hear somewhere of just filling an old sock with charcoal dust from the fire pit or wood stove. Shake the sock when you need to and the dust shakes out into the wind .

I was running out of wind checker dust in my puffer bottle, inserted some charcoal dust in it....it works but not as well as it's too coarse and jams up the end spout...so don't try that!

I'm going to try using an old sock and see how that works.

Cool story bro. Glad that kind of worked for you.

Do you rock climb?
I just use my chalk bag refill to top of my Windicator squeeze bottle.

Dry cattail fluff works good. Can actually watch it float away with the wind to see if the wind is changing direction down wind.
