Better check your regulations if you're trying to fish anywhere around Glenmore. Closes Nov 1st.

My bad I thought he was talking about the reservoir.
Not from Calgary, didn't know a road is also named that.
I apologize for jumping to conclusions.

There is a publicly accessible lake near Calgary with 13 inches of ice when we don't have any snow and have temps well above zero? I'm surprised. Not doubting the OP, just surprised.

Great place to go, ice fish there every year, decent pike good amount over 63cm (allowed to keep) and some bigger ones. Might head out tonight, haven't been yet this year. Used to be great on the north side by the release site in the summer as well, but the water level this summer was very low.

Thanks for sharing the info with the internet. Should go quite a way towards helping to drain the res. of any decent fish. Be like Eagle at Strathmore by next year. Every thing catch and release.
