Default Barrel Shroud Alignment on JR Carbine

I have just received shipment of a used JR Carbine and in trying to assemble but cannot align the barrel shroud with the receiver, It is about 150 degrees out.

Anyone have suggestions? Thx

There should be a locking ring that screws onto the barrel nut. From memory ... screw the locking ring all the way onto the barrel nut. Screw on the forend on as far as it will go then back off until aligned. Then tighten the locking ring onto the forend. In the end there is a slight gap between the receiver and the locing ring.
