I haven't noticed any. But I don't use it unless the fuel is gelled. I generally don't use any diesel treatment at all.

To put it into perspective, dad bought 6 bottles about 4-5 years ago. I still have 2 of them left.

Last resort I guess, I prefer to thaw out if possible.

Yeah I agree, it is a last resort, but when the cows need fed, what do you do? You gotta get it running somehow.

Thanks for the heads up on those parachutes but I don't think a 20' diameter would be big enough for a farm tractor?

Well that's right, get her running. And keep winter fuel in it and pretreat with conditioner, after a couple of tanks I don't even worry about conditioner unless it warms up or it goes in the shop. My old case 2390 is 16 ft. , so it would work on case tractors, never needed it though, the old girl is bulletproof.

I run so much fuel through that tractor, I haven't had to use any diesel treatment for a few years till the beginning of the cold snap here, and that was fixed with methyl hydrate.

I've found in the past when I have had to use diesel melt, that if I just dump a jug into the fuel, go to the house for something to eat, and come back in an hour, the tractor will generally start. (excepting the one dead battery problem, that took a few 6 hour times to figure out).

Also, 20X12' insulated tarps are around $20 on kijiji. Bought 6 last time I bought them.

We have 1 tractor that is being used twice a week to feed cows. It has summer fuel in it. I have never had a problem as long as I’ve been using Howe’s diesel fuel conditioner

Well I have this problem again. Small surprise given the weather.

Of course it’s one of those things you forget all about when it’s mild out. 🙄

I guess I will have to break down and replace the cables.

My clutch cable on my Case was the same, ended up replacing it.

Talking about a parachute, I have a 16 wide by 24 ft tent with 3 stove holes, in each 8 ft section, with a internal frame, set it up where ever you want, for sale, sorry for the disconnect .
