Default She's gone to the field in the sky.............

Today was one of the hardest things, I lost my best hunting partner. Her name was lady. All day I have been thinking about all the great hunts we had and all the other things we would do. From hunting and fishing to camping and hiking to just sleeping on the couch. She was one great dog and will truly be missed. There will always be a bird for you where you are now.........

Sorry for your loss. I hope Lady chases birds in her new home all day long. Gets to lie in the warm sun to sleep when she wants too. That her water bowl is always full.

So sorry your friend went to the happy hunting grounds, the only thing I have to offer have is that one day you two will be able to hunt together again!
I have watched too many pass on before me, it s a very tough thing that I never get used to.......

Sorry for your loss, that is so rough. It sounds like your both very lucky to have been a part of each others lives, and guaranteed the memories of the good times will bring a smile to your face in due time. Hang in there.

Tough loss of an old friend. Sounds like the memories will be lasting. Mine is laying beside me - 13 and full of arthritis. They just age way to fast.

All the best.

[QUOTE=Redfrog;3415510]They give us some of the best days of our lives and one of the worst.

So true.

Sorry for your loss.

Over the years I have found this Forum a great place to share the loss of your hunten dog, pet or companion.
Many of us have or have had close ties with dogs, we feel and understand your pain.
