Lakes Open Near Hinton or Jasper?

I'm heading out to the Hinton area for a day or two with my boat to do some sightseeing and fishing. I know it's a little early in the season so a lot of lakes aren't open yet. A couple i can think of are Obed or maybe Fairfax but the person coming want's to swim in the lake too.

Would those be my best options or am i missing some? (Obed i hear is a tough one to fish)
