25-06 borrowed

It would be neat to see all of this info in a graph of some sort.

I have hunted big game and been sucessful with:

303 British
30-30 Win
30-06 Gov
308 Win, Ruger M77 Ultra Light
7mm Rem Mag, Browning A -Bolt
7x57mm Mauser, Ruger No1 RSI and 1A
338 Win Mag, Sako 75
375 H&H, Ruger No1 H
My favorites go/to rifles are the 308, 7x57, and 338....The other 2 cailibers I still play with often....But I haven't used or owned a 303, 30-30, or a 30-06 in years.
This Year I am hoping to add my new 25-06 Rem, Ruger No1 A/H to the list.

Most have been killed by a 7mm and a 25-06. Here's the rest:

.270
30-30
.308
.35 Whelen
.35 Remington
.300 WM
.338 WM
.44 mag
45-70

Would like to get something with the 350 RM this fall though.

Man if some one where to do a count on what caliber would be the most used be VERY!! interesting on what has been posted on this post. There's a bunch of guns posted by everybody that they dont have no more and newer calibers that just started to come out would be cool to see what gun was used more to shoot big game. WOW!! lot of different guns used which one is the most popular????. I just cant count that high

Out the list above I used a Winchester model 70 chambered 300 Weatherby for most of my animals. As the hair turns grayer I am concluding I don't care for recoil too much. I'm gravitating to smaller calibers at this point.

Some of you guys have quite the list; almost makes me feel kinda inadequate.

.270 WIN
.22 LR

Neither has let me down when used for intended purposes.

I just love to play with new rifles and cartridges. That's the only reason that I have 11 cartridges on my list. Hopefully 14 at the end of this fall.

I started with a .270 Win. and wouldn't have needed anything else either. But where's the fun in that?????
