Default Fishing Spots near Golden, BC

I'm going to be in Golden for the weekend and plan on doing a little fishing while I'm there. Does anyone have any good fishing spots, cast or fly? I won't have a boat with me on the trip

I had a lot of fun fishing the Blaeberry River a few years back.

I was lucky enough to grow up there, if you are after bull and rainbow trout I'd try the Columbia river or Kinbasket lake right now. Its an especially good time of year for rainbows. Look for places where streams/tributaries enter the main river/lake. Tons of spots easily visible on google maps. If all else fails go to where the golf course dumps in . You can also check out Blackwater lake up near Kinbasket for some shore fishing opportunities.

Dave at The Golden Gillie is doing guided trips and picked up a jet boat for this season. He does stillwater and river trips. Highly recommended!
