I cant find a good ice fishing place with pike in it. I still have to try Travers and Crawling Valley, but anyone tell me any other good Pike places around calgary?
thanks,

generally a rule of thumb the further from calgary and edmonton and the corrodor in between the better as far as size goes, if you are looking for any pike close to calgary chestermere, langdon resevoir, eagle, you're not very likely to catch anything of size at these places but there are fish there in the right spots.

Its a very shallow lake with small fish, Ive talked to a lot of local oldtimers who said its been at least a dozen years since pike of any size have been caught there. Might have something to do with a large feedlot on one side and an oil transfer facility on the other side. almost 3 hours from Calgary too.

I asked what lake at Hays, not whats Hays dude, I live 10 minutes from there I certainly know where Hays is. and there are no walleye in that lake, dont know what lake you are fishing. There are at least 10 lakes within a short drive of Hays.
