Default chickakoo icefishing

going to chickakoo tomorrow dog sledding. wondering if the lake winterkills heavily? if not should i throw my icefishing gear together and try for a couple hours?

actually its kicksledding. lightweight sled and dog or dogs.

Seems to winter kill every few years but it gets hit hard every year by a certain ethnic group known to bring their entire family so they can take home buckets of fish when only one person is fishing.

If your going to be there it might be worth drilling a few holes but dont expect much in size or quantity.

They have aerators on the lake now, not sure how successful they have been at stopping the winter kill though.
