Default Nice Saskatchewan Whitetail - Just Finished Mounting

I just finished this guy for a customer and thought I'd throw up a few photos, he is a different looking deer, with a funny non-typical addition on his right beam. A nice buck, I just wish he was mine.

I don't know the story, he belongs to a customer and I didn't ask him all the details of the hunt.

Beauty mount and trophy !! The character ones have always appealed to myself.

Took a 7 x 5 in 2010 that is similar, main beams almost touch, bic lighter just sneaks in and split G2's..

Thanks for sharing !

I have seen that look..usualy when deer realizes the stump he just walked past is in fact not a stump at all.
Ear cocked back, eye rolled, body frozen immobile. Moments from bolting like a scalded cat...
Cannot attest to what the other eye on his opposite side is doing though.

Nice looking deer love the character.

Had another guy ask about this as well. A deer can show white in the fronts of both eyes, depending upon what he is doing. It is a more a sign of aggression than anything, and if much white is showing the ears should be laid back somewhat to compliment the look. This particular deer had a knob on his right antler, that I did not want to cover or hide by bringing the ear forward, his rack is tall and quite heavy but not really wide, and I decided to keep both ears back somewhat back so as to present the rack more.

To answer more questions about the white showing in deers eye's I have added this link to a discussion that talks more about this subject.

http://www.taxidermy.net/forums/Deer...07B014EC2.html

I have different requests from different customers as to what they want. Some will like a certain look and some won't. In the end, it is the individual customer that I must please, and cater to on an individual basis.
