Default Tracker 1036

Hey there, was wondering if anyone had any feedback about the tracker 1036 from bass pro. A friend told me not to buy one, but I went and checked one out yesterday and it seemed pretty solid. It comes with a 3 year warranty as well.

Thanks,
FOTF

I've heard some bad stories of poor quality and durability. Spend a bit more for a Lund and it will last for years

x2 on what gold scud said. I've been looking into buying myself a punt/pram/john over the last little bit, and have been doing my research extensively mostly through people in the interior of BC. From what i've heard, Trackers have durability issues that aren't worth the money you are saving.

Other things to keep in mind, if you're looking for a boat to solely outfit for your fly fishing needs there are a couple things to consider.

1. Whether you want a riveted or welded, both have their advantages and disadvantages.

2. 36" width in the bottom is BARE minimum in a 10' boat if you want to be able to stand up without worrying about tipping.

3. 10' is very small if you decide to think about bringing another person.

I've recently picked up a 9'6 harbercraft flyfisher pram with a 42" bottom!

Hopefully that gives you some things to think about.

The Lunds dont come in a 36" wide model. What are some other options for buying new?
