Talking Hot water fishing

Just awesome, I just got invited for 10 days down to Lake Havasu, Arizona forfishing, leaving tuesday....Bass fishing, here I come. Never fished for Bass before, what do you guys recommend? I am goig to Bass pro tomorow to get a few pieces..:sHa_shake shout::sHa_shakesh out::sHa_shakeshou t:

From what I've read and talking with guys down here, lake havasu has a ton of striped bass. Most of them are on the smallish side compared some some of the other lakes in the area. Most people you cut anchovies, jigs, crank baits in the shad pattern. People also cast large swim baits for them down here going after the real lunkers. Hope you have a good time. Bring warm clothes, its been chilly down here!

With the buck the way it is I'd wait and get my stuff down there.

Make sure you get some top water lures. They are a blast on top water frogs etc. Lb for Lb bass are one of the best fighting fish there are. Yes Ive caught many atlantic salmon on the fly and Bass are just as fun when they get up and tail walk.

I love fishing for bass. i usually catch the most bass on plastic worms wacky rigged, or top water like a buzz bait. I recommend Buzz baits they are by far the most exciting way to fish period. have fun
