Default North Buck Condition

Has anyone been out to North Buck in the last couple of weeks? I’m thinking about heading up there tomorrow and wondering how bad the flood water is, and if I can get on with a truck or if I should load up the snow mobile. I will probably try either at the provincial park or golden noddings.

Thanks

Was there last Saturday,we took snowmobiles and happy that we did. Some places have over a foot of snow and flood water averages 5",but there was some places where flood water was frozen. There was no truck tracks at all on the lake,we went in from the campsite side.

Was out yesterday probably could have taken the truck snow has really gotten packed and didn't run into any flood water. Checked out long lake too and someone drove on it but had a helluva time getting off at the launch. We got on at the provincial park.

slow lots of smallish pike kept one under 63 abou 56 cm. But the perch fishing was really slow lots of small bait steelers. only kept about 6 perch. then the pike moved in and started stealing hooks.
