Alot of snow
Ice is fine. Still 12" or so. No flood water but there is a good 7" of new snow and it was a little hard to get around on Saturday and Sunday, we had to break out the chains. You would definately need the 4X4 with half decent tires for the next couple of days IMO. Roads between Olds and Sundre had alot of black ice still as of Sunday @ 5:00pm. Hopfully the warm weather melts some of it making for better conditions on the weekend. Happy Fishin'!

I knows its not burnstick, but I was out fishing Phyllis lake on Sunday(not far from burnstick), the access wasn't to bad. The campground road had alot of snow cover, but there were some really good tracks leading to the lake. Once on the lake I was able to make it almost anywhere with no trouble in my jeep liberty with no flood water. Hwy 54 wasnt in too bad of shape either. The Gf and I managed to land about 50 perch and 1 small rainbow. We drove by Burnstick on the way home and saw some people out on the lake.

was out there all week end, ice was 18 to 20 inches for most part, no water or slush, lots of snow, 8 to 12 except for sme drifts on east side four feet by the north boat launch.

Perch spot
Hi I am planning to take the kids out on Sat to catch some perch on Burnstick. I have never been out there before and I would appreciate some direction as to where to drill in some holes?
Thanks in advance for your replies,
Tight lines

Along the west shore drop in 20-30 FOW water. Use a flasher to find a school.
