Good ol tetley orange pekeo. It's the only kind I like, and it has to be teatley, all the other brands just seem so weak. Back in nfld almost everyone drinks tea when they have a "mug up"

I'm a big fan of tea, moreso than coffee. I love coffee, but it makes me so shakey/edgy/ cranky that it isn't funny. Two cups and I'm a nutjob. Tea doesnt' do that to me, and I drink a fair bit of Twinings Earl Gray, lemon and honey, in the winter. I also drink a lot of Yerbe Mate', Sara brand, from Uruguay in the summer..this stuff:
http://www.yerbasara.com.uy/
Edit: As a side note, that may be the most unpleasant web site I have ever looked at, I got motion sickness from it. Who thinks of that stupid gimmicky stuff??
I used to buy it from Dino's grocery in Winnipeg, on Notre Dame, when I lived there. Now, I buy a 20 kilo box (20x1kg packages) at a time, form a Spanish Library/grocer in Montreal. True story. It lasts about two years. I drink a ton of it in the summer, cold steeped, then mixed with peach juice concentrate, over ice. Fabulous ice tea, I'll drink a half gallon of that a day!

Milk first.
It changes the way that sugars bind with the tea and the result is the tea is less bitter.
Milk first and you use less sugar and...won't look like a savage next time the Queen invites you over for a cup of rosy.

Tea junky, my smile is like looking inside a teapot.
My favorite is lapsang souchon,, twinnings name theirs as russian caravan.
The story goes something to the effect of; an army invades and torches a chinese emporers home and his servants put out the fire inadverdantly soaking his tea so the fire/smoked it dry.
It is best with neither sugar nor milk and the best one I cant find here, the twinnings is a good second and all others taste like stale, shredded cardboard.
Irish breakfast tea with milk and sugar is the best imo.

Tea is excellent.
Lately I have been enjoying "Orange & Dark chocolate" & "Licorice Mint"
Although my favorite tea is "Rainbow Tea"
I try all different types in the tea press, love the loose tea.

Did someone say tea? There are so many good kinds. Depends on the mood I'm in for what I like. I'm for the most part a loose leaf drinker, and especially enjoy white's(silver cloud, sisters tea), a good green(like a sencha) can make me happy but I'm rather picky about what I like in a green, blacks(oragne pekoes) are are great for an afternoon or making a southern sweet tea, rooibos are swell, oolongs can be soothing(especially with a decent smoky flavour), and I have numerous herbals on top of that. Just writing this makes me think I shall go heat a pot of water.
P.S. milk, and or sweeteners are sacrilege

What a great thread! I have recently taken up drinking tea in the late afternoon and evenings because I value my sleep! I love coffee, but if I drink it past supper I am awake all night. So far, all I have had is "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot!" (Bonus points to whomever gets the reference) and some peppermint deal that I wasn't too fond of. I will have to try some of the flavours suggested here.

I like Market Spice Red tea. Its a loose tea that you load into a mesh tea ball. It has citrus and clove flavors. Nummy.

I drink Glenn's Spicy Blend from Glenn's Restaurant in Gasoline Alley in Red Deer. Then mix it with French Vanilla coffee mix and you have a Vanilla Chai Mocha. It's awesome.
Glenn's has a real nice selection of teas. I have also found a nice tea shop in Rocky Mountain House but can't recall the name.

I like plain old orange pekoe, Superstores PC brand is pretty decent. x 2 on the Marketspice, which unlike the Pekoe, I don't have milk in.
When I was young my Mom would occasionally make one concoction that was pretty good served hot. At the time there was a powdered Nestea available that did not have sugar or lemon like their iced tea does now, it was simply the tea equivalent of instant coffee. She'd mix that powdered tea with orange Tang and spice it with clove, served hot. It's one of those flashback flavors for me.

Scottish breakfast from Glenns in Red Deer. Nothing in it as that would be just wrong. Or if you get to England get some Harrods breakfast tea ( loose) they both have great aroma and taste.

Tetley in the morning, at work the Van Houtte Earl Grey or Green Tea with Pomegranate.
For other teas, Yerba Mate or Roiboos from Teavana or David's Tea. Haven't found one yet I don't like.

Chinese gunpowder and Irish Breakfast tea. Gotta love the taste of a burnt rope.
They helped me get off of that darn Cope, and plug.
