Default Perch fishing cold lake

Been fishing cold lake a lot this year as I have just moved here this summer but I have yet to find some perch. This can sometimes be a sticky subject but I was wondering if some of ya could point me in the right direction for anything (pike, walleye, perch, burbot, whitefish)? I've got the trout figured out but they were not hard to find. Caught a 31" last weekend and let it go. Not a big fan of eating them just like to catch them.

I can't help you on the perch front but I can say congrats on a hog of a trout!

Congrats on that laker.....the biggest I have caught this year in Cold Lake was 74cm so I had to let it go.
I saw a tonne of people set up in the shallows of French bay last weekend, I suspect they were fishing for perch.
I have never fished for perch but I would just head out and talk with some of them, for the most part everyone I talk to has been helpful and friendly.
