Default Phyllis Lake?

I am heading out that way this coming weekend to cut a Christmas tree and was wondering weather I should bring along the auger and ice rods? If any how much ice is there? Last time I was out there (2 weeks ago there was about 1 1/2 inches). Thanks

Approximately how much ice was there? And if you don't mind, which lakes were you fishing?

hike in lakes are also a good option and the same with alot of the creeks in the area.
shunda creek has a few big brookies if you do the hiking
gap lake(winter access) and allstones also produce some decent sized brookies.
