Default Custom molded earplugs

Anyone have a recommendation for a company in the Edmonton area that does custom molded earplugs?

I think Costco may do them.

Surefire makes some really good ear plugs, they almost feel like they are molded. Might be cheaper.

Not all Coscto do them ( talking about BC ).
My experience was call around and find one that does it and then book an appointment if the slots are not already filled up.
They did it once a month here near YVR.
Call around to the local Motorcycle shops or chain saw shop.
They certainly should/would know who to contact.

Safety supply shops tend to cover this, the type of places you'll buy fall protection gear, take safety training, get fit-tested for your dust mask, etc.

I've been dealing with some pretty annoying tinnitus, and the last time I had my hearing checked, the audiologist mentioned that they could get custom made ear plugs brought in for me for shooting sports. You could check with your local audiologist and see what they could bring in for you...

Are they in the shape of a suppressor?

Makes me wonder, could you get a note from your audiologist that would allow for the use of suppressors?

Just use a potato.
I notice a 18db advantage with russets as I think Yukon gold or reds are not as dense.

For a suppressor I mean...not as earplugs.

I went to HearSmart solutions on the West End. Great product. I got a pair with a radio plug for work, and a pair for shooting.
They do a lot of stuff, even bluetooth monitors and earphones for music. YOu could get a pair that lets you listen to your favourite podcast or tunes while you shoot.
Do noise cancelling earphones not work for you? Its about the same price for the Peltors or Walkers.

I have been using DB Blockers for a number of years now. They work quite well and come in a number of configurations to suit your needs. They keep your ear mold on file for 5 years if you need to re-order as well.

The vented ones with electronic muffs over top are my choice for shooting. Can hear conversations without removing any hearing protection, still blocks harmfull noises. https://www.protectear.com/product/d...rtible-vented/

I also have a set of their discreet ones for use where you may not want to look like your have ear plugs in (plane, bus, some concerts ect). https://www.protectear.com/product/d...et-non-vented/
