Haha. I saw the pointy nose and but not the flaired fur on the edge of the face. It looks pretty young too. I’m a little embarrassed.

In BC we do things differently.
Back in the late 70's and early 80's we used Helicopters .
They poisoned a few and shot a few from those whirly birds.
Chased them down from the air and slowed them down with a shotgun and then finished them off with the AR.
Seriously, check out news footage on the topic and youll be surprised.
Stupid governemnt Programs.

Default wolves

You can either have large numbers of wolves, bear and cougar or you can have ungulates elk, deer, moose and caribou. You cannot have both, mother nature always moves to extremes.

Not sure that "moving to extremes is correct". How do we explain diversity on this planet then?

What is probably more accurate, is that in today's world, balance is much harder to achieve, and may, in some circumstances require culling.

I believe CTV had a story last night (I'm sure one of you savvy tech types can find the link)about a herd of caribou on an island in the St. Lawrence I think, that were being decimated. Started with several hundred caribou and 4 wolves. Now they say only dozens of caribou left. Guess what? They're opting to live capture and relocate the caribou by helicopter, instead of shoot the wolves. So far 9 caribou moved by helicopter at, IMO, 100,000 times the cost of shooting a few wolves.

Yep, no logic or common sense there. Just be sure to look good!
