Sold one out of 4.
Those price you guys are right won't even pay for the fuel.

Hopefully no one bought a marten line and expected to pay for it with fur this year.

Where can a fella find the historical prices for fur? I'm going to have to have a look. With my limited knowledge of the prices they look away down to me. This is my first auction and I only have a few coyotes in but this has to suck for you fellas.

I sold 7 out of 15 and averaged $75. Top was $100 and it was the heavies that sold. They are still missing 3 of my marten that I shipped. Did better with 3 fisher all *I males. Top went $108 and the other 2 went for $94, not bad for males. My only to hope to cover expenses is my lynx do well.

I watched in shock as my Martin sold only an Xl sel not sold it might as well have sold in the 90 dollar range and got everything over with. I had 6 under 45 dollars. My rats were as good as the last three sales

Default Marten

18 out of 30 sold. $72.00 average and they never sold most of my XL *selects. Large male *I fisher was $106.00. With the last auction that makes 32 marten sold with a $90 average. I am happy with that.

i think trappers have a some unique math skills.......eh

we send 50 pelts to a sale. 25 sell at 75$/pelt. the others don't sell at all.

call me crazy, but wouldn't that be a 37.50$ average. on that particular sale?

yes i know they will sell at some point. but its kind of funny.

love it!

Gotta do the math like that to convince ourselves, eh?

I only sold 7, avg $64. Good time to let the line rest.

Here another way to do the math, last years avg + todays = $117. Still not bad.

I see 6 more marten sold, must have been private treaty. For 13 that sold average down to $70. I can not stop trapping marten next season but probably will scale back my effort.
