Default Junior trapper looking for land privileges

As the title says, I'm a junior trapper in the Calgary area and I was looking for the possibility to start trapping on someone's land.

Preferably looking at going after coyotes or any nuisance animals people want dealt with. Have no issues with commuting, my current work schedule will set me up for a solid week of trapping at a time.

Please send me a pm if you or someone you know could use the assistance of a trapper. Additionally, if you're a trapper who could use an extra hand send me a message as I'm more than willing to help out. Suggestions from other members are welcome aswell.

Thanks

It's pretty easy to get permission to trap beaver at this time of year with them taking all the trees down.....lol! Go for a drive and look for beaver damage and knock on the landowner's door. I just did this two days ago and not only did I get permission to take some beaver and to snare for coyotes, but the landowner said that he might know a few people that may be interested in getting me to trap their land as well. Around here word spreads fast that there is a trapper in the area willing to trap for FREE.

The fella with the beaver problem initially thought about what it would cost him and when I told him FREE, it was an easy sell.

Try advertising on the Facebook buy and sell. I did and got more offers than I could accept.

I did that last year. I'm curious if you got any posters like I did here:

Thanks for the replies. Getting out there and meeting people in person sounds like the best idea moving forwards.

Even though I advertised on Facebook I met with the people. You have to so they can sign the proper forms. Plus I explain in great detail on how I go about everything. I've met a lot of nice people this way. Plus it has led to permission for hunting also.
