I don't have anything in this sale all my furs are in for the sept sale. But I will be watching and hoping for good prices all around. Marten can't be any worse than last sale

According to Russia sale recently the price dropped another %30 from Feb Nafa price Mark. Sad to hear and hope it was because it was a Russian sale.

I'm not sure what is happening with my NAFA account, or if I even have one. I dropped some yotes off at the ATA back on 18 March and supposedly I was to have an account opened. To date I haven't received anything from NAFA to tell me what my account number is. I'm new to this and I'm quite confused.

To me they seem very unorganized and very slow. I had the same issue. I called them and eventually I got the letter in the mail that I could use to open my account. Did you try it online as well with the numbers they gave you?

I signed up for a nafa account by using my fur shipping receipt number my number was a H######. I found it difficult and a pain to sign up and look in my account as well. I also have 33 yotes 1 Martin 1 coon 5 beaver. I don't expect to be in the top lot with any of them but here's hoping.

HD, it seems strange that you haven't received any thing from nafa on fur shipped in march.

my grades for marten haven't changed, since i sent them in for February. as NOTHING sold.

except rats and coyotes, there was so/too much unsold fur in feb. which is rare from nafa of late.less chinese.

i'm thinking, there going to blow every thing out, for no matter how low it goes. then start fresh again. but i have no info to back that up, just a hunch.

i've kept all my auction fur(sell alot privately) from jan on. to sell next feb. when hopefully, things get back on track.

good luck everyone! pulling for ya,

Thanx Peter ,that's the way I read it ,on both of those lots .I 've got a good skinner .Congrats to you too as well on the top bobcat lot, I bet he sells for more than my coyote . But looking down the sheet , there are 26 coyotes that grade select at about #429178 .. thought that selects were the top lots ?

yes, that is confusing? i see that they have SSL on the 001 lot for marten. but not on coyote. even the possibility of having a TL is pretty cool. keep us updated.

Don't think I will have a any top lots. Got 9 lynx there, they graded alright, so that will be my high light. Fisher graded good as well. And my big beaver made it onto the first page of western

Marten, well........after the last sale don't have my hopes very high.

No weasels in top lot this time

There are 54 coyotes in the top lot, they are not deemed as SSL PL as in a typical Feb sale.

This will be the easiest sale for a person to get a top lot coyote, perhaps of all time?

Thanx for clarifying Marty , might be the easiest but I'll still take .. lol .Any idea what the price on coyotes will do overall ? I've heard on here and from a few others that the price is expected to weaken .

Typically price drops for a May sale, even if price structures are exact, due to an increase in late season rubbed, shed and abundance of damaged goods. Remember the damaged coyotes that were not offered in Feb? They will be offered in this sale.

Right now the coyote buyers are sitting there feeling sorry for themselves cuz all their buddies that buy mink and everything else are getting really nice bargains in the current cool down, so they think on such basis they deserve such. Now we get a chance to again test this market, for the depth and the hunger. It is my understanding that the coyotes are still hot and will hold, less the necessary drop in average that the addition of low quality goods to the average will affect.
