Here was another set in an old slide. I just put some directional sticks and a little castor scent on shore with a couple green shaven sticks and it seemed to work

Great pics! Thanks for sharing. On a side note, have you ever tried eating Muskrat? I watched an episode of The Wild Chef and he cooked a bunch up in a trapping camp. Apparently they are pretty tasty so I was just curious if you've tried them and if so what you thought.

Thanks for sharing your pics. You do know that since your daughter was there helping she at least deserves a fashionable muskrat fur shoulder bag or muskrat fur coat for her Barbie.

HAHA RED! The 9 year old daughter of mine wants a lifesized weasel mount. I didn't have the heart to tell her that her dad sucks at catching them

It has been long known that kids are the best weasel trappers...let her set the weasel traps.

Duke a couple pics are beavers and not huge rats Wish they were huge rats as they would be worth more. I quit catching rats near the end of April. They were getting all torn up. Just got home from camping and noticed I sold %100 and ended up with a $9.32 average. I imagine that is a U.S average so add on another $1 to that which is not too bad. I averaged $12.77 U.S last sale so I am down quite a bit on this sale. I got another 150+ rats in the freezer and they are going to stay there now till next Feb. I can't see the price doing any better by fall and I will take my chance for next Feb sale.
Hope my yotes do as good or better than last Feb. My fur was a lot nicer and deserves at least what I got last sale I hope.
