Default Early Season Coyote

This guy was shot on Tuesday by a friend. Skinned & boarded him. Still looks like we need a couple more weeks. Is he worth sending in to auction, or should I just toss him & cut my losses?

Well you've gone and done the work , no sense tossing him now, not snow white but not totally blue either . I had guys bring me 2 dogs today and yes , I believe they need another couple weeks to be good .

Send it in, there's a market for extra early (XEY) coyotes. There are guys snaring them now.

The last 3 years around here the coyotes reached prime on November 15 pretty much on the button. I think that's what it also states in the manual. Last year I started a few days before November 15 and I had one grade XEY and two early (ELY). The XEY sold for $40 and I think that the ELY were $80. Those were snared, undamaged coyotes though.
