Default Dutch creek campground

Planning on doing some fishing down on the oldman/ Livingston, I like to stay at the Dutch creek campground. My question is do I have to reserve a spot or do I just drive down there and hope there is a open site, last year I just drove down and found a site and paid accordingly. Thanks in advance.

Just drive down and pick a spot. We were there last weekend. Might be hard to get a good spot on a Friday night but there was spots open all weekend. $26/night

Ok thanks, I go every year and avoid the weekends, for some reason I thought I heard or read you had to reserve a spot.
