Default Jumping pound question

Heading to k country for couple weeks have never fished this creek any suggestion.

Take note if there is a "Hoot Owl" closure/restriction!

If there is not, get there early and be prepared to walk!

A LOT of small Brookies a few Rainbows and Cutties and in lower sections very rare Bullies.

Usually a 7' rod is best b/c it's tight casting in many sections.

Hoot Owl is in effect starting Saturday August 20, 2022 - August 31, 2022 no fishing ES1 Rivers & Streams (including the St Mary's) from 1400 - 0000.
