This whole country is going down the pipes you know that! I’m pretty frustrated! I voted blue in both provincial and federal and at first I was blaming blue for the new fancy $200 bill I have to pay to get my youngin to school every year because of government cuts and funding. I then realized it’s a trickle down effect from the liberals kicking Alberta’s bean bag in the dirt as per usual.

As a member of the republic of western Canada, EAT MY SHORTS JUSTIN TRUDEAU!

Fiscally conservative? I doubt that. The closest we’ve seen in “modern” times was Chretien/Martin and their no deficit budgets. I didn’t like their other political leanings though. And before someone says Harper, he was NOT fiscally conservative. He took 14billion surpluses to huge deficits. Rapidly. His “surplus” at the end was achieved by selling off profit making crown corporations, not by fiscal control. Present government is even worse.

Arrow ... Jean Charest is 'Out' ❗

.

For days now, I've been hearing rumors within the CPC about Jean deciding not to run in the 2020 leadership race.

Today, he made it official 👉 https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/jea...ship-1.5434981

I had high hopes too. That she wouldn't. Hopes granted.

Sad to see Rona not running, she would of beat Trudeau for sure. That's my only requirement for who I'm voting for to lead...and Pierre just will not relate to the average Canadian...if he's leading we will lose 100% (I really like him but won't win a general election). Best hopes were Rona and Charest (don't like him but would have decent chance to win). Now only hope is Peter MacKay and even then I don't know if he can beat Trudeau...better chance than Pierre though unfortunately.

All that hope of star candidates waiting in the wings and down to Mckay and whoever decides to challenge him. I don't mind the idea of Mckay. He could go toe to toe with turdo in an election.

I guess we see who else jumps in.

I don’t mind McKay but I sure hoped there’d of been a contest here! It might be best to acclaim McKay then get this party after sparkles and start getting ready for the next election it’s coming sooner than we think!

Who knows, but I wouldn't doubt it. Only Trump and Trudeau seem to be able to get away with it. This is really not good.

He made his call, and I respect that.

At this point, there isn't one decent candidate, that CBC, and Unifor, can't make out to be the devil in disguise. Unless someone that has declined to run changes their mind, there isn't much hope in the next election.

No kidding but just try and post that on any CBC news public form . It will get ban ASAP and you will get a 10 day time out .
But the Liberals trolls can post anything about the CPC party or there members and get away with . Talk about freedom of speech .
