hike in lake's?
are there any hike in lakes that are worth goin to anymore? I'm talkin atleast a half to a full day hike. Preferably one that is maybe a little less atractive to the fair weather hiker. Would like a nice quiet place to pitch the tent and enjoy the fresh air. I know that is alot to ask for in alberta anymore and I would understand if maybe people would be hesitant to give up info like that

The only bad thing about landslide and lake of the falls is all the helifishers, you bust your but for a day to get there and then they come in with piles of gear and garbage. They've abo****ely trampled both places and burnt the trees. Those used to be my fav spots but now I don't even bother, one day I counted 21 trips into one lake!

Galtea in K Country. you need to be in very good shape and pack for Winter camping. A Helicopter could land there but some years back 2 search & rescue fellows were killed while being helicoptered in, apparently it's a pilots nightmare. It's also a natural ampitheatre, which means you can hold conversations 100's of yards apart.
