Default Grave Lake BC

Anybody ever been to this by Sparwood? I am thinking to head out today. Is the campground ok-private etc? How is the fishing? Thanks.

The lake is gorgeous and there are some 20 lbs Gerrard Rainbow in there. Its over 100ft deep in spots. Kokanee don't seem to get over 10-12 inches long but they taste great in the smoker. Camp site was decent last time I was there about 5 years ago. There is a nice sand beach for the kids. Caught rainbows trolling with the fly rod and large wooly buggers early morning. During the evening bite, apex or Williams near the surface in the middle of the lake would produce bigger fish when the kokanee start rising. A wedding band tipped with maggots run off the back of a bottom bouncer always caught kokanee. The kokanee will show on your sounder. Just troll at that depth to catch them. Don't be surprised when the big gerrards hit the kokanee on the way up

Cheers
