Zodiac dealers
Can anyone point me in the direction of who sells Zodiac inflatables in central Alberta ..decided to go with one instead of a 2 person pontoon boat. Looking new or used in 14 ft.
Thanks

Costco.ca is prob ur cheapest for a zodiac if ur set on that. Lots of comparable inflatables for half the cost though
Free delivery with Costco and great warranty too. With summer coming to an end I wud suspect they wud be clearance pricing them soon.
Good luck

There was (is unless they moved) a Zodiac dealer on the block south of Hooter's on Macleod Tr, it is on the block east of Macleod tr. in a little two story mall you can't see from Macleod. Believe he had Metzeler's , too

That was Ron in the YouTube video from the Edmonton show. I love mine which I have used all weekend almost every weekend since the ice melted for two years now. Never a problem. The choice of wood aluminum and plastic is nice to. I even left it out in the snow and cold all winter. The most stable, reliable, roomy, well equiped boats for the money. You can also fit the whole boat in the trunk of a small car trunk if you don't have a truck. Now I need a 15hp motor.

Check out your specs, 15HP and 20HP are usually the same weight but price is only fractionally more. Don't exceed your rating though.
And X2 on Seamax. Price is right and I can replace it and still be ahead of a Zebec or Zodiac. Not to take away from them as great boats, just a perspective.

Yeah it's rated for 25 max just don't want to spend that much on a motor. I'll be getting a minn Kota instead. Better for the eviroment and the wallet and alot easier to transport.

I hear ya, it is simply a safety factor for me and ms bil. If you have to get off the lake in a hurry.....
FWIW, my 55# thrust pulls about 5.5kM flat out (level 5), 1,5kM on level 1 (12.5' Seamax).

I got a Saturn from Gerry. He's in Edmonton.

I think he's a distributor for Seamax now, but they are similar.
I have a 20 HP on my 15' and runs sweet.

Saturn, Seamax, Zebec, Zodiac... They are all more or less the same. You'll be happy with any of those choices, probably a little happier if you save some money in the process.

Cause for starters they won't flip over whentwo people are on one side trying to bring in a fish, scary in a small aluminum. Second they are way new comfortable to sit on, I can completely sprawl out laying down on the floor and sleep if need be. Thirdly, they don't need alot of space to haul or store them. Fourth, they don't need a trailer. Lots of reasons. They look way better too. The only advantage I would give to the aluminum is puncture resistance. Lol but I just watch where I'm going so really don't worry too much unless I am whitewater rafting it or in the nsr lol. Anyway each to there own.

Had my 14 ft in for minor repair at zebec Edmonton and was told that by the serial number mine was made in 1979. We use it 6-8 times every year.

I bought a Zodiac last year after looking at all the options and a lot of research and I have to say the Zodiac and Zebec are of better quality than some of the off brands Seamax,Saturn etc.If you look closely their is a big difference in the quality of workmanship with the Zodiac and Zebec inflatables but you do pay for it
Will it last any longer?Time will tell

Depends on the zodiac series. Their entry levels ie zoom are garbage. Only their high ends are even made in france anymore.
Zebec is very generic Korean made. U think they are better do to the extreme price they charge. Look at the material brand, thickness ect.
I'm not saying zebec is bad. I'd take one over a entry zodiac any day. But a non zebec quality inflatable can be had for close to half the cost.

You are correct
I purchased a Cadet Series Zodiac made in France
And they are superior build quality

Hey jungleboy, do you mind providing the make and model of your new boat? That's about exactly what I'm looking for but I didn't see that one on their website. Also, what HP is it rated for?
Thanks!
