Eskimo gas tank ?

So my mako gas tank has a tiny leak by one of the bolt holes. I sanded and roughed up the surface, applied some epoxy and it seems to hold water now. I want to order a new tank but the tank is discontinued. I checked online and Alta power has a after market tank that is supposed to fit. Anyone buy this tank and does it fit ? Is there someplace local a tank can be bought ?

Lawnmower hospital will have or can get what you need, the tank is discontinued because it has been replaced by a new model with different mounting system to avoid this crack issue.

Hi Kim, if you can't find a replacement tank, there are vehicle bumper repair shops in town who do plastic welding. Could be a last resort fix.

I went thru this last fall....I cant remember where I got replacement tank from tho

Any place that does warranty work for Eskimo should be able to you a tank....email Eskimo....maybe they will give you free tank....or point you to someone in Edmonton

I got mine at lawnmower hospital a couple years ago. Was a slightly new design so it shouldn’t crack again

Yes it was newer design
