Default Anti-peeve thread. What made you happy today?

Ok, since Oko seemed to be pretty disappointed about another rant thread, I figured let's create a happiness thread and share what made you happy today!

I will start again.

My three-year-old didn't cry in the morning before going to the daycare for the very first time. She hates the idea of going and cries every single time prior but sort of enjoys being there. Three-year-olds, go figure. But I am keeping my fingers crossed the non-crying trend continues.

I saw my 2-year-old granddaughter this morning and got at least 3 hugs.

I don't see her all that often.

A doe and her fawn meandered through my yard as I sat on my deck having my morning coffee this morning... Always a nice start to the day!

When I logged on to AO General Discussion this morning, only a very small percentage of the first page threads were political click-bait. Go Mods!

Better half and I went to Bruno Mars at Rogers. Wow, what a performer. I sat down for about two songs, and that is so not me. Whole building stood and danced most of the night. Guy seemed super happy to put 110% into his show. Cost a lot. Worth it.

Walked into a liquor store today and no one said "Good morning". Instantly put me in a good mood.

You have to be there just as the turning of the key ceremony is taking place for them to wish the regulars a 'Good Morning '.
Me, I nade it through another day at work with out getting run over by the 300+ cars all trying to board the 17:00 sailing.

I heard Roadhouse Blues by The Doors on the radio today, which brightened my day up.

Let it roll, baby, roll....

No, they were rounds 55 & 56 for the year, at one of Alberta's tougher 9 hole tracks & one of my favorite courses, Mannville Riverview GC.

Wink It's the little things

Think I've found a surefire way to improve my accuracy.
Installed the new Hi-Lift.
Finally got a chance to go through the photos of the last lunar eclipse.

Got a new Client.
Got 3 confirmations on litigation accounts :
Finally shook the stomach flu I have had for 4 days
Have more people interested in the fabrication equipment

Best part - got a thank-you card in the mail from the son of the AO member I took fishing in Rupert in July. That made my day!

It is fairly rare that I see two calves but here they are.
Overall seems to be a great year for the deer and moose, lots of young ones around.

Went to the paediatric allergy doc on Monday for son's yearly lung function test. Doing better than ever. Upgraded to mildly asthmatic. No longer allergic to dogs and cats. Wife no longer has strong objections to us getting a hunting dog, and she even wants to go out to Densa44's place to see his new pups. Looking forward to the day I can take out some AO members without dogs, just as Densa & Elk did for me and my son.
