.277 calibre and heavy 160 gr bullets

Does anyone here use 160 gr Nosler Partition in 270 win ,wsm or Weatherby
and what was your experience with them?
Personally I had a great results on a bid game moose and elk with them, but it was pretty close range , and so so an a deer.
Next season my boy will probably get his first moose draw and I am not sure which one to load in his 270 wsm for this hunt
160 gr Np or 140 gr Barnes TSX?
