Shannon has won every Scotties she has entered. Five in a row. That is just astounding.

Good for Jones going as far as she did with her new team.
Kerri doesn't have a good record at the Worlds. The quality of curling this past week from what I saw wasn't the greatest. She'll have to be on her game to be competitive at this years Worlds.

Used to be that anyone that got to the semis of the Hearts or the Briar was pretty much assured of making the final at the Worlds - the quality of curling world wide has gone way up and it is nowhere near a certainty now.
That being said Go Einarson!

Watched most of the tournament last week, and all of the page playoffs. The final score between Manitoba and Canada doesn't reflect how good of a game it was. A five ender in the 9th was the difference.

It was great to see the young talent coming up. Walter in Manitoba, Skrlik for Alberta, Black for Nova Scotia and St-Georges for Quebec. All of these teams have a solid future going forward. Some great games were played.

Congratulations to Kerri and her crew.

Same as years past. Unable to read the ice. Hard to watch.

It’s funny how it’s always the ice. Both teams are playing on it. Maybe not playing on club ice enough. But wish them well and will enjoy watching the games.

The team is not playing bad, they had 2 games when they were not sharp and that's the 2 they lost, both by 1 point, at this level if you miss 1 key shot it can cost you the game, she is 4 - 2 and in 2nd place, she needs to win out now 3 losses is not a good spot to be in, to many variables.

I wish them good luck, got to run now the game is on

They're playing ok, not great, but should be good enough to make the playoffs. Competition is tough as it usually is at this level.

Will watch it till the end!

Looking forward to the Men's Worlds starting on April 1 in Ottawa.

No consistency from the 3rd and skip. If (when?) they lose to Korea today it'll be a tough road ahead.

Problem is Canada is probably able to put out 5-10 contenders at an elite level, many of these other countries can put together one team and they train in Canada oftentimes because there is poor competition back at home. The team who’s “on” during the qualifiers may not be having their best week during the actual tournament.

Not looking good for them this morning, they are at 7 - 4 playing Denmark in their last game, they are down 7 - 3 at the break and need to pick up their game in the next 5 ends or it could be a plane ride home for them ........ GO CANADA

I think with a loss they could just make the playoffs. Reason being is they hold a tie breaker advantage on Italy, and USA and Japan could lose their games in the morning draw. Canada would just get in, either at 5th or 6th place. Einarson and company definitely struggle when playing against world competition.

Yes she just qualified for the playoffs along with Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Japan, and Italy no matter what happens in the last draws, she will have to do it the hard way, GO CANADA

I'm sure your opinion might change when "drag queen curling" is brought to a tv channel near you.

Well given that I can't sleep I decided I may as well get up and watch the playoff, Japan is up 2 - 1 after 4 ends, Kerrie just missed a double for 3 and it ended up a steal of 1

Well it was Norway they played and full credit to Norway as they beat Team Canada. In my opinion, Einarson seemed shaky on her shot making today. If they continue on for a few more years as a team I would be surprised. They play Sweden in the bronze medal game and the Swedes are going to be pumped to win a medal. As for Switzerland, what a team as they have won I believe 36 games in a row without a loss at the world championship.

I think the front end of the team should dump Val and Kerri and find more consistent 3rd and skip players. Maybe Kerri's nose ring is affecting her delivery?

I'm cheering for Sweden to win the bronze but the gold going to the Swiss misses is a no brainer.

David Murdock is gain to have a busy few years!

We have tons of talented and skilled players. Why we don’t perform at a world level surprises me. They were lucky to make the final 6.

Japan had a shot to win and blew it.

The top 2 teams are playing for gold. As it should be. Kinda cheering for Sweden.

Mens Worlds next!

No Kerri and Val have not been as sharp at the worlds as they should be but they are still curling OK, unfortunately OK doesn't cut it at that level of competition, curling in the rest of the world has improved a lot in the past 10 years and will just keep getting better.

Bronze is nothing to be ashamed of, GO CANADA I couldn't sleep again so am watching the game live, done deal 8 - 5 Canada
