Default Gull Lake Help

Never do this, and kind of dreading the responses haha, but if someone is kind enough to point me in an area of concentration at Gull Lake, my son and I are camping here this week and have a little boat to get around. Any insight is appreciated. Take care!

I never fished there before but looking at the depth chart I Googled, looks like good structure. I would start by trolling bottom bouncers and spinners using minnows, worms or leeches. Fish the structure. I would start at that SE side and work up to the north east side. Off the point on west side might be good.

Good luck and hope you and your son get into some fish.

From the main boat launch go to the left to the first bay, you should see a number of boats jigging walleye.

Also at the far end at the other launch you will also see several boats most all in 20 FOW jigging walleye.

Have fun but keep your eyes open way too many shallow area's in that lake that if you are not aware will do damage to your prop.

Depends on where on the lake you are. North end used to have good pike and perch along the weed like nes. Basically the troll the weeds. Used to be perch hiding in the reeds.

I have also never fished Gull, but I have heard it ha a few shallow danger points. Is the north end free of these rock danders? I want to go out this Monday, and was thinking of launching at The Meadowbrook public boat launch on the north east side. Has anyone launch from there lately how is it and how do you know if there’s a public washroom at that spot? Or is there another boat launch you would recommend.. (with public washroom). I have a 18ft deep V aluminum to launch Thanks advance for your response.

North has some shallow surprises on the East shore line - The map from another contributor shows the area I'm talking about. I came ripping across that area and probably filled my diaper, luckly I was up on plane and blew right over it before I realized what just happened.

Any slower and it would have ruined my day
