Gotta do my part to help our fisheries, it's too bad this forum seems to have no standards when it comes to fish handling.

I must agree, unless im keeping the fish (super rare) I never stick my fingers in the gills.

Must respect what gives you so much enjoyment.

Nice fish

(and I don't understand why everyone's attacking fishpro for his opinion)

Not always what is said but how. Pretty high and mighty is how that came across.

Kudos to Chubb for posting pics. Fewer and fewer have the courage to post pics as it seems to be a pastime for others to find fault.

Awesome fish!

I don't see any fingers in the gills, I see fingers under the gill plate but not necessarily in the gills.

Maybe I should have been more specific, I don't mind seeing a finger or more under the gill plate on larger fish as sometimes it's hard to hold them any other way. But the way it was bending out the gill plate can't be good, those fish were too small to hold that many fingers under a gill plate. Nice fish, but not large enough to safely be held like that.

would it not be better to say nice fish and pm the person instead of trying to make him a Jerk on the forum...... unless that was your plan all along.

Good idea, that's what I'll do from now on.

Sorry to all for the harshness, sometimes I see things and get fired up over them. I was just trying to get my point across.
