Default Another AOF Gathering..

We had a few get togethers this past hardwater season and they turned out great. I have been talking to some members about having another. maybe a little fish off and a BBQ after for everyone. Would just like to see if anyone would be game for this idea. If you have any suggestions on location or anything els please feel free to post. "I wont let my wife fish this time" some of you will know what that means..

Hey Jeff, great idea man. How about this time we head to PCR? Easy to get to and plenty of fish to catch, would make for a good derby day and people can fish from shore easily.

You can fish with a floating log if you want Mustang. I had 70 or so right off the dock yesterday. It bet'r be a magic boat cant see it getting any bet'r than that.

For the members that did not make it to the hard water gatherings It was a great time the people who attend are top notch. It a chance to put faces to the names on here and tell lies about the big one that got away. I would recommend coming out if you can to anyone. Here are a few pics from past gatherings We did one on Chain Lake And one on Spray As well.

The hard water gathering was allot of fun so you can count me in again......of course depending on the date and as long as your wife isn’t coming this time.

Thanks for the invite.

LOL No you will have a fighting chance this time. I created a fishing monster with her. Still getting my nose rubbed the "FEW" times she out fished me.

Sounds fun. Is there any camping there at Pine Coolée Reservior? Or would this just be a day thing?

Just on a side note. I used to bring my wife fishing all the time. But she always out fished me. So I found an easy solution. I just don't bring her any more. If you think I'm kidding then just ask her. She hasn't been fishing for over 10 years now.

Sounds like a great time. I would be up for that....and the girlfriend, who has recently become a fishing fan. I could see getting outfished by her

Careful you will create a monster like I have. The first time she does you will never hear the end of it However I dont think its fair when I drill the holes set everything up , Bait the hooks , Take the fish off ect.... But I guess that dont count according to her

Default Sounds like a riot!

I will be in for sure if the date falls on one of the weekends in the last half of July. Mama is taking the youngins' back to MB for two weeks as of July 18th. I could totally use a fishing day in there! And I would love to see what PCR has to offer.

If anyone from the Cochrane area is interested, maybe we could carpool?

keep me posted!

Dean

I should be able to come out too! Love the idea about bringing the kids too! Just can't make it on Sunday July 19th as the daughter and I are entered in the Lund Angler Young Angler Tournament at Traver's that day.

I'm in of course ..lol The BBQ idea is great

I'm pretty sure " we " can pull a few strings to let a kid win this time After all " we " did let a girl win last time ......

jst1 - you have to bring the wife, she is more entertaining than some of the board members..lol .........Well until the wrestling starts or the shirts come off of some others...lol

I'm thinking sometime in the last half of july the 18th/19th or the 25th/26th Sat or Sun doesn't matter to me .....
