So I have my opinion but what do you think.
What species of trout is this ?

That's definitely a large mouth bass. Probably running right around 70 lbs i'd say.

Interesting.. Maybe a Laker .. Have a look at the tail and see if you still think so.

i didnt see it before but i didnt think the fish were bright enough for a bull, then again, i've never caught either species...i thought it was a laker just lookin at the body.......could it be intermixed species??

the tail is not as forked as a typical laker but I still think its a laker or a splake. If I knew where it was caught I may have a better idea .

Laker I think still, the spots are too close together and to small for a Splake.

Looks like a female laker to me.

speckled trout and laker cross=splake , just a guess though , never caught a splake , just lots of lakers
