Default Cabelas 20% off Ammo with free shipping

Just a heads up, cabelas is having a 20% off sale on all their ammo and if your total is more than $100 you can get free shipping to your house.

I picked up some Barnes Vortx TTSX for hunting season.

Tempting, but if a guy is stocked up, may pay to wait till next sale since the CDN dollar is still climbing. Year from now?

I ordered ten flats of target shotshells, and saved around $200.

I am not sure, but I think you have to enter the promo code in order to get the free shipping. Currently, it is FALLDAYS. If this is the case and you did not put the code in when checking out, just give them a call and say that you forgot to enter the code and they should fix it up. Sometimes, you would get an idiot on the other end telling you that they cannot do that. In that case, ask to speak to the supervisor and they should fix it right up. Many times they just take the shipping fees off automatically before shipping your order. You will see the actual amount they charge on the invoice in the box you receive.

Any suggestions on the ammo I should get for a 7-08 (coming out of BLR) to put a deer and and elk down?

You must use the falldays code to get the free shipping. There's a banner at the top of the page saying that.

I'd call them and get them to knock the shipping off.

Default Cdn dollar

Deal with forex all day at work, we should top out at $1.20, small possibility of $1.15.

That being said, I am literally running out of places to put any more ammo. 2 pallets of target rounds for trap sitting in the shed. There was room in the gun safe for one more shotgun though.

If you take the time to click the little arrow beside the Fallsdays code and read you will find this.

"Shipping fees on oversized, overweight and dangerous goods are excluded from this offer
Examples include ammunition, powders, primers, blinds, fishing rods and safes"

Or you could just get them to call you when your order is ready to go and pick it up at the store of your choosing to avoid the shipping cost.

I don't think I've ever waited longer than 48 hrs.

^ first one has to drive 500 km to get to the store and then drive 500 km more to get back home.

I picked up a case of 12ga shells for my son to shoot grouse with and a couple cases of 40cal bullets. 20% off doesn't happen too often on ammo.

Even if I have to pay $20 shipping, it would cost me more than that to drive to the city to pick it up

The promo code "falldays" definitely worked for me. I did add a couple of elk calls to my order though, if that made any difference. Unless, of course, they will charge me extra when shipping. Also, I only grabbed 5 boxes of ammo, if that makes any difference as well. Good luck!

So much for the free shipping on ammunition. Originally the order went through, but today I was sent an e-mail informing me that the shipping would be over $240. I elected to drive in and pick up my order as a result.

Got some camo n' ammo on Sunday... 00 buck for bear protection, some Federal Whitetail .308 180gr and some steel bird shells. Got a few fishing goodies while I was in there too!

And found a pair of camo pants that actually fit. Most brands 36 are too big. 34 are too small. Found 34's that fit like they were tailored for me. $200 for everything saved $25. Great sale.

Ha. That sucks. I did not get anything yet, no shipping notice or an email. Like I said, though, I only ordered 5 boxes of ammo, a couple of calls and a couple gun cases (soft). So hopefully it will ship free. Otherwise, the order will get cancelled in a hurry.

I ran into the same thing. Cancelled my order at the time. Turns out I should have just gone in to pick it up.

I placed my order no problems, but I had to pay shipping.

A few days later I got a call saying they can't ship ammo to a PO box because of the courier they use won't deliver to a PO. I asked them to call me back in an hour and I would find a address they could ship, it's been 24 hours and no one has called me back for a new address

•Shipping fees on oversized, overweight and dangerous goods are excluded from this offer
•Examples include ammunition, powders, primers, blinds, fishing rods and safes

I ordered six flats of shotshells last spring and shipping was free. My current order is about $200 off, of the regular price, so I will spend the $25 or so in gas to pick it up.

Went to the website, the prices don't look like they're 20% off. Is the 20% taken off the total when you checkout?

The special price on all ammunition was only four days long.

Did anyone get their order ship for free? I still have not heard from them or received a shipping notice. Was actually hoping for the order to be here by the end of the week.

Anyone looking for an additional 15% savings? I have a gift card with $1417 that I would sell for $1200 if someone is interested.
