Means they're labeled. The buyer gets a label saying that it was the best whatever at the sale basically. That they can sew into the inside of the coat or whatever.

I only had 2 Fisher on this sale one is a small *1 extra pale 3 and the other is a large *1 pale 3. I thought the small would have went select but oh well. How'd you make out.

Not bad 5 fisher went *SEL or better and 16 marten went *1 or better 5 in the *SSL. My lynx didn't fair as well! LOL I sent in 9 otter and all went 1 or better with 3 in *SEL. Be interesting to see what the prices are. Good luck!

I don't like to look until after the sale. We shipped some very nice marten and coyotes and still have 2 lynx there from 2017.
Good luck all.

I told you what was going on, a buyer who wants usually a smaller number of pelts is able to buy them before the sale and once the sale is over and a price has been established (fair market value) than that's what your paid.

Default The mystery lots

Evening, I’ll start out by saying I’m new to the forum. I phoned to talk to Mary about the 190000 lots that we are all curious about and what she said is that a handful of furs were handpicked to go to the Hong Kong show as examples and so when the auction happens, however much furs go for that are in the same class of the ones that were sent that’ll be how much you get paid.

According to nafa presales value those 9000 lot coyotes are worth around 142 us. I'm hoping for more but would be happy with that.

Default marten

209, you are going to have to stop using the wire stretcher to board your marten, just kidding nice batch of 3XL's. You must have jumbo marten on your line with good genetics.

I haven’t explored the new site too much but......Tapping on lot numbers in your account doesn’t take you to shaded lots in the catalogue anymore. Maybe when the auction is underway?

Pretty sure they changed that for the second auction last year already. Pretty lame. If you find a way to make it work let me know

I don’t recall it that way last year but it could be I guess. Regardless, it’s only a minor inconvenience and I have printouts of my lots. I kind of liked my lots being highlighted though.
