Where can u fish and catch ! Trout during winter around edmonton
Check the stocked lakes list. That will tell you them all and you can take your pick. This time of year trout fishing isn't the greatest. Some lakes winterkill and trout fishing in general is a little slow.
There are at least 10 lakes, or stocked ponds within an hour or so from Edm. where you can ice fish for trout.
I am planning on trying my luck tomorrow at one if weather is nice.
As mentioned, check stocking reports.
Edit.... Figured what I said above wasn't very helpfull, so here are a couple lakes that might produce
Star
Spring though access is tough
Cardiff
Morinville pond
Salter, though read some bad reports earlier in year.

Never had any luck at Cardiff a month ago. Made me wonder where the fish went.
