Cool Dolberg Lake Bears

On june the 20, 09 two bears were spooted in the camp ground. A teenager out for an early morning pee noticed one black bear and one reddish brown. They were only twenty feet from the fifth wheel camper. I did notice on the previous weekend lots of noise in the bushes near the boat launch. I thought it was those skunks that have been raiding campsite garbage for the past month.
Take Care and Happy Camping !

They had that same problem a couple years back on a long weekend. They kicked everyone out and closed the lake.

Cool Dolberger Bears

The bear a few years ago was a grizzley which is much more of a serious matter. I hope the new ones do not disturb the campers to much.
I want to spread the word so nobody gets hurt. May be the skunks will spray the bears.

I do remember somthing about a grizz now that you say that. but I also think that they had blacks in there to. My friend has land near there. I was good fishing last time I was there. Hope everyone stays safe.

Default Bear

I had a very sobering encounter with a grizzly bear out at Dolberg several years ago in the early spring, they shut the camp site down for a week and tried to trap it but no luck, a couple weeks later they found the same bear out at thunder.
