We where at Fawcett from the 12th to the 15th, great weather, great camping, and great fishing. 30+ fish/person a day. Nothing huge, but still had fun. Stayed at the anchor inn resort, nice people. Call ahead and try to book site #16, excellent. Hope this helps.

Default Sad day (totally off topic)

Saw "Fawcett" and thought that I'd let ya'll know( if you hadn't heard)..Farrah Fawcett passed away today from her ongoing battle with "c"..Any guy in his 40's I am sure had that poster up of her in that red bathing suit..Just an FYI...

Are you talking about Fawcett Lake north of Smith Alberta? Is the campground at the west end now called "anchor inn resort"????

30+ fish/person/day were these walleye?

Yes, Fawcett Lake north of Smith, the Camp Ground is called the Anchor Inn Resort, as well they are running the old Provincial Park that is on the old mill site. Found a little walleye hole at the east end. 50-50 walleye to pike.
