I am heading out to Mabel Lake BC next week.

Does any one know of any good shore spots or lures?

I am hoping to get my girls excited about fishing again.

I grew up in Lumby near Mabel Lake and the lake is super cold, all the time. On the fishing side of it, there seems to be a small amount of good sized fish there, what worked best for us was trolling all along the edges and hope for the best. The inflow at the north/west end has good fishing, but don't know if it is off limits anymore or not. Give it a try, good place to stay is the provincial site also at the Lumby side, or there is a few places on the Enderby side, but have not been there in quite some time.
