I fell in love with trout fishing on the fly about five years ago. I dont get much opportunity in Edmonton unless you count the stocked lakes nearby. I get out once or twice a year near Canmore to get my fill. Most of my flyfishing is on the NSR, and that has it's unique challenges, but does not measure up laying a fly down on the open stream near the mountains, and watching something silver dart up at your fly. I'll tag along with ya guys but consider me a newbie when it comes to the river trout.
