Fly fishing show

So i was reading that we have a fly fishing show at spruce meadows this year at the end of January.

Is this like any other show with good deals on gear? Looking to add some gear to my fishing collection, waders, boxes boots etc. i guess when is the best time of year to buy things like this?

Most of the retailers at the shows have good sales happening. Beat the rush and go the first day

I've bought gear there before at decent prices. The advantage is they have a pool there for you to try out rods & reels you are interested in.
