Default 2 days til Kootenay!

Anyone with an update on kootenay lake?
First day of fishing is Tuesday, maybe one little run Monday evening!

Any final tips? First time fishing for Gerards.

Ive only ever been guided by Brad Stubbs on Kootenay, but it was awesome. Those locals have the flies dialed in to drag around on days with cloud, sun rain and wind. It was pretty cool. I posted a link to Kootenay King Fishers fishing report below, hope it helps a bit.

Have fun, and don't mind the patchouli smell while you're in Nelson.

You should be up top with bucktails in the 3 - 4 mph range - monitor channel 68 for the local chatter.

Cool

Weather and wind will be a big factor. overcast with showers, dark colors . Keep some bright colors rigged if the sun makes an apperance. Lolol see how that works, tight lines.
