If Yellowstone blows or even vents in a significant manner, the amount of Carbon Dioxide and Sulfur Dioxide put into the air will be massive.

The Oil and Coal Industry will of course be blamed for the natural rise in "Greenhouse Gases", and the Green Scientists will once again yell that we are ruining the planet.

Only saving grace is that the ash cloud will be around for about 18 months and will cause "global cooling". The Environmentalists will take credit and say that it is proof that we are on the right track with Renewable Energy transition.

You see, no matter what happens it will be used to forward someone's agenda.

Perhaps we can start a Petition at the UN to make an international Treaty against letting Volcanoes erupt in member Nations.
